Stealth Corvette by Chavito34 Stealth Corvette by Chavito34
This is a 53 m. long Stealth Corvette. It has a special cover that reflects the environment and the light providing to the ship a perfect camouflage.
Its “cold engine” technology and a very low radar step make its enemies very difficult to target it.

these a are my previous entry:

I hope you like it ;)

I like this one - yes would recommend no words on the page other than the name of the ship, if it has one, and the measurements. My guess is that they will pick what they want, change the name, and paint it up all pretty how they see it. Hence why they want gray scale renders or line drawings, no signatures, and whatever else.

This one deserves not to be DQ'd.

Normally I not friend to put lot of words in a panel too... but I think that in this case was need to make clear my concept :)... at least I think that finally I manage to make clear that my ship is a Stealth ship :D ;)

I know that I'm not gonna win because as everybody say I don't know the game enough... but I was trying new (for me) photoshop technique in the views... and it was faster than to make linear drawings... I had lot of fun and I learn a lot ;)

Your entry is not compliant to the rules of the contest and will be eliminated on that basis. For your sake, please read the rules and bring your submission to standards. The other thing is... what is the point of your ship? Corvettes are anti-fighter ships and unless you are in null sec, the average player never encounters fighters.. only drones. Your ship would never survive -vs- a drone boat. As for stealth... EVE uses stealth fittings (high slot) and not special materials. All ships in EVE show up in the overview and can be easily targetted. You may wish to rethink how your ship fits into the EVE universe.

I read again the rules of the contest. Do you mean about that the side views are in colour? I don't see any else where I brake the rules. I just explain this to BlueBlankey so if you don't mind I will make a "copy, paste" of that answer :)
"Yes, I know that it should be uncoloured... but when I begin to think about that ship I have very clear that the perspective view it should be almost not visible (but finally it was more defined of what I had in head)...for this reason I put the colour in the side views.... and for my way to work was faster that way.... and well...finally I made for fun... I don't have big hope to win (to much good designs in this contest) so at the end I was trying new photoshop technique... and I'm very satisfied with the results... so this is already my price". :)
About the point of my ship: I'm not longer computer player from the time of the 1st Homeworld (no time to play) :( ...so I have big disadvantage I the Game knowledge, So I can urge with you in this ;) ... but my argument would be that drones will use optic, thermal and radar sensors too and they can be confused too... and my ship will not need any stealth fitting, it wil be itself... and a ship with high stealth characteristic could match bigger ships too not only fighters or drones... but you are right that I don't know the game so probably my arguments are not correct :)

My take: It's a nice design but I don't feel it feets in the EVE universe, still not sure to which faction it belongs. Again is a nice concept, the presentation is currently the best in the contest, but I feel it don't fit.
I'll post mine soon so you can give me feedback also.
keep it up.

Yes... you are right
But sadly I don't have already time to play in comp :( (I was fanatic player of Homeworld...I'm talking the 1st one... and this was "my" last game.. so you can make an idea). So yes, I have big disadvantage in knowledge of the game...
But the idea behind this ship is that is some kind of prototype... for this reason it should look more advanced than the rest of ships... or at least that was my intention. ;)

Now THAT'S a cool ship.
The side views are supposed to be uncolored, but I really like this concept.

True that. I started my ship hoping to win, but I reverted to my style of building things half-way through. Certainly not integrable, but it turned out exactly the way I wanted it.
The real winners have fun making ships

Well my answer to pinarci was for you too

That is awesome , I mean They say in BOLD big fancy letters " SHOW US YOUR DREAM SHIP " I already got one ship rejected even though ship was all symmetrical I was missingone side view of her , well . Once you read all them rules , Its like they want you to build a ship for EVE . Hey I want to win just for the fact that my ship will be in EVE universe . But I feel little dirty with my last ship Acorpiio here I am working on under funny pressure .
Chavito 34 I would hate to see your ship disqualified , that would be unfair . I would like to see a fair battle :)

Well, of course that I would like to win :D :D :D

but... I think that they want that we surprise them... to take new ideas (if not I don't see sense to this contest). If we are "coping" their style then we are not offering anything new.

sometimes is good take some risks... but well... probably I'm wrong :D
